Located in a superb position on the headland between Fistral Beach and the beautiful Gannel estuary, the Pentire has magnificent coastal scenery on its doorstep whilst the town is a short walk away. The restaurant prides itself on its varied menu and locally sourced produce.
A landmark Millennium project to mark the year 2000, the objective of the Eden Project is to promote the understanding and responsible management of the vital relationship between plants, people and resources in an effort to discover a sustainable future for all.
Constructed in a former china clay pit and spreading over 35 acres, the Eden Project brings the story of the earth’s environment to life.
The huge covered conservatories or ‘biomes’ are home to crops, plants and landscapes typical of Californian, Mediterranean, southern African and tropical rainforest climates. Here you learn about the ways of life that are followed in each environment and how plants have a vital role in food production, medicines and the manufacture of everyday products. Out of doors there is an opportunity to learn about the plants that share the temperate Cornish climate.
This living theatre of plants and people provides an exciting and vibrant reminder of our place in nature.
The Kilbirnie occupies a seafront position just a short step from the town and its food is prepared using the best of local produce. Hotel facilities include a secluded sun terrace, indoor and outdoor heated pools, solarium, hydro spa, hair studio and snooker room.
A stroll from Fistral Beach and the town centre, the Carnmarth Hotel overlooks the golf course and enjoys open sea and countryside views. Hotel facilities include bowls and snooker whilst the “Inn on the Green” and lounge bar are perfect for that quiet drink.
